I don't think the thief went into any cupboards, at least not any that are
hard to access. The jewelry was in a bag (along with a lot of other junk -
sewing stuff, barrettes, hair stuff) on my back seat. S/he also stole a
walkman sitting on the ledge above the camping stuff. But not other stuff
of equivalent ease and value. The person did have time too look, or they
wouldn't have known the jewelry was in the bag. Also the person locked all
the doors when s/he was done.
