Well, for me.. I would not be interested. Links though they are valuable, I
think should be made free to others. Content that is collected and organized
is another subject all together and would warrant a fee in my opinion.
I too have accumulated one hundred and six (106) links and have begun
organizing them, everything from where to buy, part dealers, unique van
modifications, worldwide van sites, European dealers and sites that detail
"how to's".
As soon as I have enough time I am planning on making my own Vanagon site
that will include all of this. I even had an idea of making a collective
video site where people could submit video's of repairs or how to's to
share... Later the video's could be sold on a DVD and could go to fund a
completely new Vanagon site with all kinds of bells and whistles and
possible go to fund events...
So in short I am not a fan of the idea of selling links, I have always
thought that like the internet being free, so should links, they bring us
together to what we want, cool Vanagon sites.
Content sharing on media is worth something and is tangible, links for me
are not.
Good luck on whatever you decide, and hope you have a great new year.
