I was looking at Derek Lees info on tires.., he was saying that SA Steel Wheels in size 15 inch and SA Rhein alloy wheels in size 15 inch both weigh the same.., 23lbs.., Then I looked at the Nokian Hakka Tires.., CS, C2, and CQ.., and these all weight the same.., 28lbs.., (in 205 65R15) Then I looked at the Nokian Tires, WR, in 205 65R15..., and these weigh 20.9 lbs..., So Nokian WR on Steel Wheels or Rhein Wheels is going to be 43.9lbs.., And here it makes more of difference depending on the tire, than on the wheel.., which surprises me.., Now I need to find out what a Comtrac Winter weights...., (and these are S rated Tires, unlike Nokian Hakka's which are all Q rated.., ), as well as the weight of Rondo Silver 15x7 Alloy Wheels (offset 45) and Nokian WR's in size 215/65R15.., not too mention max inflations The stock carat alloys in 14 inch are 18lbs.., And this all affects unsprung, or how heavy are those things flying back up at me??? |
