I am having two issues and am not sure if they are related. First issue is that when accelerating the engine it is very slugish off the mark. Actually difficult to get started in first gear with any sort of power. Hill starts are very fun. Second issue happens when first started and cold. The car starts fine but for the first couple minutes will stall after accelerating the engine. It can be difficult to start if it actually dies. If am able, I can keep it from dying by giving it a little gas, otherwise it hover around 500 RPM and then dies. This is a stock 89 2.1l with about 135k on it. It has been recently tuned up with new wires, plugs, etc... Thanks, I appreciate the tips. James aka Coupe |
