I have personal experience with two - one in a Vanagon and one in a Passat. Both died within the two year warranty period. Even though they give free replacements within the two year period, its not a very comforting feeling. The only reason I have these is that they were in cars I purchased. If I am buying a battery, I only go with Interstate. Z Gerald Masar <azsun99@EARTHLINK.NET> wrote: Looks like a new battery is in my future for the '88 Westy. I usually buy, and have had good service from, Diehard International, but Sears is a 100 mile RT and I would wait 'till they are on sale. In the meantime, any opinions on EverStart batteries from WalMart? Thanks, Jerry
