Subject: Sliding door

I have looked around and checked the archives for all the lists. Help is appreciated. My sliding door is mostly stuck closed. At first, the lock knob was stuck, but some wd-40 and aggressive neogitiation later it worked just fine. The handle pops the door right open but it is stuck in the front (the end by the passenger door). The back will open, but it seems that the front is not unlatching. I would have just taken the panel off and the hardware, but this is an adventurewagen and I have to deal with a fridge, stove and table right in front of the door. I just need to get it open once so i can pill apart and clean/grease the whole assembly. Any tips/tricks? I cross posted with the adventurewagen list, sorry if you get this twice. I am trying to avoid removing the fridge assembly. to gain full access to the door. There is very little maneuverability.

For new news and history. I finally received my van about a month ago and it is in storage for fixing and tweaking. I had a 2.2 subie installed and am waiting for a starter to really see what she can do. Step one is fix the sliding door!
