Subject:      WTB: diesel vanagon intermediate plate
Hello random part collectors,
               I'm looking to buy a used intermediate plate from a diesel
vanagon (i.e. the stamped sheet metal part which gets sandwiched between
the transmission and the engine and keeps road crud out of the the clutch
housing--section 13.23 in my Bentley manual). I will build one from sheet
metal if I have to, but would prefer to use the stock part (would diesel
Rabbits use the same part?).

         Please let me know asap--I'm going to be putting the engine in
the van very soon (Audi 2 liter into a '86 vanagon at 50 degrees)
         I'll pay money or trade something from my own random collection...
