Subject: Vent Window Adjustment?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed

Some bozo broke my vent window to steal a pair of $20 el-crapo speakers (ignoring lots of other stuff that had actual value, fortunately). I replaced the window with one from a u-pick lot, but it whistles terribly when driving. I can see that the latch is not pressing the window against the rubber tightly. The latch itself feels loose. Is there some adjustment in the latch mechanism itself? Or do I need to bend the hinges back (maybe they were bent during the break-in?)
