sweet van.. the polished carat alloys must be a SoCal thing.. when i was
out there in LA, a fe wyrs ago, i saw another van that had the same thing
done.. i recently refinished a set of carat alloys (sprayed them silver and
clearcoated them) but prior to respraying, i stripped all the paint off down to
bare aluminum.... i thought to my self ..."wow, these would look cool
polished"... but then the thought of hours of sanding and polishing to get the cast
aluminum finish mirror smooth....ehh.. the hell with it.. LOL so i just
resprayed them..:<)
