ABA is an 8 valve engine, not a 16 valve. It is an interference engine. Seen it multiple times. Oh, and yes, the 16 valve engine (not sure of engine code) is also an interference engine. Squashes the intake valves, exhaust valves are fine because they are recessed in the head.
