Daryl,
Another quick update. I just picked up a sequential turbo unit off a
'93 mazda rx7, so I should be able to produce decent (10-15psi) boost
with intercooler from a little above idle to redline. :)
On the plus side, it has two inputs for the two rotors of the rotary
engine that will hookup perfectly to the two outputs from the exhaust.
On the minus side, it is about 1.5' long and a normal size turbo
width... PLUS all the solenoid hookups :-/
This will necessitate an aftermarket ecu or an aux enrichment system
and 3-4 manual boost controllers to make sure the few airflow
direction vanes work as needed.
Definately intending to setup some sort of water injection for an
emergency situation.
I'll keep you updated as much as possible.
