Glass shops do not do body work. For real fun, many body shops make you pay a glass shop to remove and re-install glass. If you have a visible rust spot with the glass and gasket in place, be prepared when the glass is removed. Get the brazing rod and bondo ready. Also, get new gaskets. Dennis

I need to replace mine and I have a tiny rust spot and I'm trying to decide whether to do it myself or have someone do it. Will a glass shop repair that rust spot properly? I've put in side windows...is it MUCH harder or just bigger? Can anyone recommend a shop in the Bay Area? Jeff / 87 Syncro Westy |
