Subject:      change color of floor mats?

Early last fall I got a nice set of carpeted floor mats on sale from BD.
They are good quality, nice looking - but they are a very pale beige color
that shows every little bit of dirt.  I had thought, since they were custom
made for Vanagons, that they would match the tan/brown interior - but they
are much lighter than my carpet.  Is there a spray dye that I can use on
them?  They are sitting in the house now and my beat up carpet scraps are
back in the van.
