All I can say is, drive one of these old LT trucks before you get too excited about them. The early ones with 5 cylinder NA diesel engines, and this gas one I imagine, are SLOW. Slower than a diesel westy 1.6 NA, much slower. Plan on spending a lot of time driving on the shoulder when going up hills, the 18 wheelers will be passing you.

They do have a lot of room inside. The design and finish is typical of westfalia, clever and efficient. The older LT series trucks I have seen used special reinforced heavy duty 14" tires with multiple ply sidewalls. I wonder if these are available in North America.
