I got this from the Costco website: "Installation of Less Than a Full Set of Tires It is always recommended to replace tires in complete sets. When purchasing less than four tires, the new tires will be installed on the rear of your vehicle regardless of the drive axle. This does not apply to Dual Wheel vehicles or vehicles with different size tires on the front and rear of the vehicle. " (from costco.com reprinted without permission local laws apply your mileage may vary actual mileage will probably be less ;) And on the subject of what tires are correct for your car, it says the final decision is that ofthe tire manager at your local Costco: "All tires, both new and those remaining on the vehicle, must meet all manufacturers’ safety standards and specifications. The final decision to install a tire on a vehicle will be made by the Costco Tire center manager or supervisor." Best, Jeff 83.5 Westy LA,CA |
