It's no problem to register them in other states after. New Jersey, for example, would see that there was no title issued by Maine and just use a copy of the registration and a "Bill of sale" to issue a NJ title. Somehow, though, I suspect the seller of this van hasn't properly registered it in NH. Years ago, Maine was a non-title state "PERIOD". I purchased a new car while in the shipyard at Kittery, registered it in Maine (no title), and later shipped it to Hawaii where a title was issued. Mike |
