oh...just to add.. the vehicle in question's two dash VIN's are IDENTICAL, except for the ZZZ's on the poprivited one; and that the driver's door B pillar post CMVS/Federal/weight/VIN sticker matches the Canadian market VIN that is "robertson screwed" to the dash behind the ZZZ VIN. ie, the vehicle number, the last 8 digits are the same on BOTH VIN's.. the orange Canadian/Federal stickers (one in english, one in french) in the engine compartment are original, and there was never a black Euro VIN plate popriveted to the front pass side A pillar down by the lower RF door hinge like all Euro market vehicles had. the vehicle appears to be canadian market in every way, it just has an extra VIN on the dash - with the same numbers as the Canadian VIN - it just has an extra ZZZ in it. does this confuse y'all even more? :<) chris |
