I wouldn't let any of the big box monkeys anywhere near my vehicle. Bet you a dollar they warp your brake discs. Torque? What's that? They'll just pick a lug nut, thread it on, crank it up until the air hammer socket quits tightening it, and procede to thread on and tighten the one next to it . . . . Gradual torque in a criss-cross pattern will prevent warped discs. But they don't have the time for that, and maybe they have a store policy against it . . . . However, I had great service at NTB (Sears) - they were local and could get my Westy tires. Tom "No highs and fake lows - must be Bose." |
