In Maryland, I think I have the choice of tail pipe or dyno test. Which should I do? I am going to do the oil change, air filter removal ,alcohol addition of 10-50 percent(where do I buy this stuff?),correct timing, actone for a few weeks, then fuel injector cleaner. Any more? I think I will get an extention first. I want a couple of thousand miles on this WBX ,without headgaskets, to see if it is worth testing anyway. So far the right bank is great. I am curently doing the left bank right now.I got to find an acceptable adjustment for the throttle body. It has some wear, and the throttle shaft is off vertical about .004. This causes a throttle switch adjustment of .002-004 only sometimes to work. Maybe a throttle switch adjustment of .006-.008 will allow for the wear, so it will close at idle reliably. Thanks everyone. |
