My RV came with a PageAlert unit that sends a signal to a pager, not unlike the systems in a restaurant. It is interconnected into the alarm system.

  It comes in real handy when you're camping in an area with limited cellular coverage and you want to be able to call back someone to the campsite.

  There are lots of newer system out there that will do exactly what you want.
