Subject: Re: Anchorage Trip

I drove from Seattle all the way to Prudoe Bay about 4 years ago in my Westy. It was an awesome trip. The only bad thing was the drive back. I spent 2 months getting there, but only 10 days getting back. Anchorage to Seattle is farther than Anchorage to Miami if I remember right. I saw a great bumper sticker on the way back. It said "The Alcan, it is a great drive, one way?" What you are doing is the best way and the way I would do it again. Take the ferry up, and a great, long, camping trip on the way back.
