I doubt that they'd let you stay in the van on the vehicle deck, I took the ferry up to Bella Cool and we were allowed limited access to the vehicles during the daytime, but they wouldn't let us sneak down at night. This is for safety reasons.

does anyone know:

if a person was to take the long ferry ride on alaska's inside passage, would they be able to sleep in their vanagon at night as long as they used no propane devices?
