I like the secondary (and tertiary) benefits of having both heaters.  When
the ground terminal corroded off my radiator fan we made it through LA
gridlock with temps in the mid-80's by running the heater full blast.  Also,
we like to dry out the rear compartment after beach camping by running the
rear heater on our way home.
