What? According to the www.usatourist.com mileage calculator it is less than half the distance from Seattle to Anchorage than it is from Miami to Anchorage. I had no idea it was that far north to AK, though. For me to drive to Anchorage from where I live in the SF bay area would be about 3157 miles! Makes my recent trip to Baja seem short, less than 2000 miles round trip... Guess I will have to allow a lot of time when I get around to making that trip!

Miami, FL to Anchorage, AK Miles: 5082 Kilometers: 8182 Driving Time: 120 hours

Seattle, WA to Anchorage, AK Miles: 2371 Kilometers: 3815 Driving Time: 60 hours
