Ron, I don't disagree with your overall point, however the McDonalds hot-coffee verdict is widely mis-quoted and misunderstood. It's not a good example to prove your point. It is, on the contrary, an example of intentional malfeasance where the corporation intentionally continued a dangerous practice knowing it would lead to injuries...
