Hey,

I somehow managed to burr the spark plug threads on one cylinder last night. All the tin on these air cooled motors makes changing the plugs much harder than it should be. Very frustrating. So I am going to have to find a tap to clean them up. I didn't force the plug in at all, once it started catching on the top thread I backed off immediately so I think the damage is pretty minimal. So any words of wisdom on cleaning up the threads? I believe Sears carries a tap made just for this. Are spark plug threads pretty much universal?

Thanks, Jake 82 air cooled West
