Subject: fender parts and body shops in Dallas/Ft Worth area
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi all,

Two questions -

First, does any of you parts type have a right rear fender end for an '89 vanagon, and the bracket that holds it on? Mine are mangled and totally rusty, respectively, could use replacements.

Second, Matilda is in need of some (unrelated) body work, over the right rear wheel well, where I, uh, had an altercation with a pole. I'm in Phoenix now, just got an estimate here from Karl Wolz's very respectable and serious but pricey body shop. I'm probably going to just get it all done here and be done with it. But there's also a chance I'm going to head to Dallas and leave the van there for a while when I go overseas in a few weeks, and was just curious about the options to get it repaired there while I'm away. Is anyone in that neck of the woods, and do you have any good body shops that you like?

Thanks!

Joy
