It's not so much the bulbs but the guy who installs the bulbs. First
they get their trusty screwdriver out and start turning on the first
screw they see around the headlight area. They do about 20 turns on the
screw and find out it's not doing anything as far as taking the
headlight out so they move on to the next screw. Take a few more rounds
on that one and find out that one doesn't do anything either. So then
they go in and call their buddy that's the ace mechanic in the crew and
he tells them the socket just pulls out of the back. So now mr.
mechanic has conquered the new lights and goes in the house to
celebrate.
Now when he turns them on, one light is shining and blinding the guy
in the on coming lane and the other is shining in the gutter. More than
likely ,doesn't even know he turned the adjusters. Just goes around to
his buddies about how bright his new lights are.
If you put these lights in. Take the time to go to any inspection
station and have the lights professionally adjusted. I adjusted mine the
proper way, with the headlight aimer. Not one person has flashed his
lights at me or have i seen anybody adjust their mirror that i got
behind.
It sure pisses me off to see those lights shining everywhere but where
their supposed to. Sorry about the rant
