Did the young man suffer face injuries from the cell phone? In the last five years I've been hit by 2 young people who were too busy on their cell phones to drive. I at least had the satisfaction of seeing one hauled to jail while handcuffed in the back seat and the other to the hospital. I did learn about seat belts from my dad, but what really convinced me was high school physics (40 years ago). The forces involved are incredible. Ever drop anything on your head while under a car? Bad enough. Dash hitting your face- impossible to comprehend, but very bad!
