I think, it is a grand and noble idea to enrich the culture of our love to
the vans we have and being able to share with others while looking at the
book or eating the foods.
Zoltan
I carry smoked vacuum packed Hungarian sousages, with German bread, raw
onions and garlic, pickles, boiled smoked bacon, plum and apricot jams, and
chocolates. Some in the fridge some in the cabinets. Salt and paprika
included.
The occasional spagetti with meaty souce for luch or dinner.
For breakfast it is a treat to have green pappers, boiled eggs sliced,
tomato sliced and salted, onions sliced and salted, with a good piece of
heated up smoked sousage either presliced or as you eat it. All this with
good heavy German bread that is real close to the Hungarian bread. Drink
water or warm milk.
I don't do coffee or pop drinks for obvious reasons. Prefer water. Tea
yes. Red wine yes.
When in Westfalia ... keep it simple.
Eat half as much as normally. Get hungry as often as you can. Food will
taste better and appreciated more. Drink water more often.
The time of eating is time for stories and some singing also.
Vanagons are a great part of our life and to some of us it is our life.
Having a book that salutes this tradition with good food and drink would be
nice.
Zoltan
