Okay, I took all the free advice on shocks, put it in the blender, & made the executive decision to go w/ the wimpy grade of Bilsteins all around as opposed to the heavy duty ones or other shocks. I wanted to go high quality, but not necessarily high performance cornering on the westy, so I avoided the HD shocks which some volks had said were to stiff on the highway. Bought the cheaper Bilsteins from the Ebay guy on Saturday & received notice that they had been shipped today, Monday (4 for $228 w/ shipping). I will have them installed & report back. Tom-this hole scenario has been "shocking" to moi |
