Hey, Maggie (et al),
According to my current hypothetical schedule, I'm going to be driving through Olkahoma from Dallas in early May, hopefully en route to Buses by the Beach in Michigan at the end of May and Bus Fusion in Ottawa after that. (And after that hopefully to eastern Canada, via Trumansburg NY to visit my brother-in-law's '82 westy, and via Boston to see friends and finally meet Boston Bob so he can reunite with Matilda's engine, then Maine, and Canada).
Let's have a Vanagon gathering in Oklahoma in early May! Even if it's not the monster Vanagon list campout. Is anyone else on the list actually in Oklahoma?
As for the list campout - there's lots of campouts all over the country. Most cut across vehicles and lists and ages and cultures and they're all fun. Maybe just make those Vanagon list stickers bigger, poster-sized, and folks on the list can all find each other?
Joy
