speaking of cruise control....for those of you who are interested in adding cruise control, i have an OEM factory cruise control system for sale.. this was removed from a '90 carat i am parting out. its complete except for the rubber bellow and bracket that mounts to the engine (i stupidly forgot to take that off before the engine was sold.. :<( but the bellow is the same as on any mid-late 80's early 90's VW with cruise (golf, jetta, cabriolet, whatever). i have the turnsig/wiper stalks w. cruise switch, wiring harness, relay for fusebox, switches at pedal, tab that clips to pedal, vacuum hose, cruise control programmer behind glovebox and mounting plate, vacuum booster mounted to rear valence in engine compartment, etc.. id like to sell this as a whole setup... for those of you who want to know how its installed - lister joe federici of advernturewagen fame had installed a used unit and he loves it.. i have one that i am going to be installing on my 84 sunroof van, and if nobody buys this unit, it will be installed on my 85 doka.. email me and ill fwd you to joe for the how-to's chris |
