Maybe  rub and gob liberally,vasoline on your strips. Let them soak in the
winter sun through a window for a few days.Else use a space heater. The
vasoline will absorb and swell the strips up considerably.I did this more
than a year ago and the strips still look new.I need to remind people to
slam the door or it wont shut all the way cause of the weatherstrips.
