In a sense, I guess any problem that happens often to Vanagons could be called "Vanagon Syndrome", but no, I suspect that this is not what's wrong with yours. Unplug your O2 sensor. Just the single wire is all that is necessary. Don't even need to open the lid if you don't mind lying on the ground. Just follow the wires from the sensor, unplug at the connector. The problem that the harness repairs, needs a new name. Anyone have a better name for Vanagon Syndrome? AFM temporary lockout, maybe? Al Brase
