You people sound disgrunteled.I like your solution. Manuel rack.I too am
tired of replacing parts only to have them fail again, soon.Mike, your
vanagon sounds like mine. The  repair curve is catching up with me too. How
long do these last? I know they are about 50 percent more exzpensive than
PS racks.Are the tie rods interchangeable? I see these around in the
junkyard, but pass them up as vermin.Maybe I need to reconsider my view
here, on them.
