"The General Pulic is comprised of at least some complete idiots!!" ~ John Rodgers

I was nearly that idiot last night.... I tested the outer limits of vanagon braking on wet surfaces and lemme' tell you that "life flashing before your eyes" experience is not so bad ~ grin ~

Had a guy turning into a parking lot decide to drop anchor in as I came up onto him, tools/papers/parts from the back of my van were all collected neatly (smirk) in heaps behind my seats.

I will be getting big brakes soon after this, mashed the thing to the floor and had multiple seconds till things really engaged to slow me down. This is with new pads, rotors and lots of meat on the rear shoes.

God must like me or the other guy cause' it woulda really hurt! Brian
