Compression test: -Remove all plugs -Disconnect (mark them) every wires on the "coil" (left side firewall) (just to be safe) -Insert the compression tester in plug hole -Gas pedal to de floor (to let air IN) -One guy inthe front cranking the engine and holding the gas pedal -One guy in the back checking the gage until this one stop going up (i hope for you), just a few turn of the engine is enough

-If compression is low, put 2 spoon of oil into cylinder, test again, if higher, cylinder/pistons problem, if nothing happen, heads proplem...

Should be around 125-150PSI (forget the 160+, inyour dream)
