Subject: help needed rear wheel alignment / trailing arm
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Okay volks,

Taking inventory of what I will need to do to get my poor 87 syncro back into the good books of life. Just took a trip to my local yard birds for some bldg materials in the van.

Steering wheel was pulled to side which got me scratching my head. Trying to figure out why. It drives straight if I let go of the wheel. At low speeds and a bit higher it feels unstable. When parked at YB I took a sighting down the wheels and then I could clearly see the problem.

My left rear wheel did take a huge blow as I had thought it may have. It is now towed in significantly out of alignment.

Took a look under to see if visible signs of bent trailing arm, but cant tell.

Question: how much alignment is there? Where does the alignment take place? the plate that bolts TO the trailing arm?

Also anybody have one in the local bay area Calif?

Thanks Doug
