Subject: Re: Spark plug recommendation?

jay:

i've had good service in our '84 with autolite 403 oem style plugs, with a .035" gap, corresponding to boch part # w7 co. on an oil burning engine, a hotter plug, 404 or 405, might be helpful. whatever plug you choose for your '87, double check the part number with your parts person to make sure it corresponds to the correct bosch plug.
