Holy Crap - that's some serious work! Sort of reminds me of a few mid engine projects out there. I think getting something like a single cab and installing an engine in the treasure chest and using the transmission designed for that engine, so say a Cummins Turbo Diesel of sorts... oh wait a minute - let's keep it a VW and get some serious power - the V10 TDI from the Touareg!
