Ken, It was over 75,000 miles ago but when I had my engine rebuilt I start having many cooling system problems from the first 500 trip. In hind sight, I think that maybe the rebuild company just didn't tighten the heads correctly. After about 25,000 miles of trouble shooting I finally torqued the heads and the problem went away and I haven't had any problems since. I'll have to see if it comes back in the future. -- Blake Heinlein 1984 Westfalia Sacramento, CA blakeheinlein@gmail.com http://www.home.surewest.net > >
