Hey, Jeff.... not so fast! :-)

I converted my office chair over to a Vanagon Captains Chair with Arm Rests courtesy of Chris!! :-D

I had a bout with Sciatica that was so severe I could't stand, sit or sleep anywhere without pain. I was miserable. I discovered that my Vnagon seat provided me with considerable relief so I sat in my van a lot during that time. So, I bought a seat from Chris, took my office chair apart to use the frame and wheels and mounted the Capatains seat on it. Wonderful chair, lots of relief, and I'm still using it as the preferred chair. I also discovered that my vanagon bed was more comfortable than my own bed in the house, so I slept there a good bit while going through the sciatica agony. I'm back in my own house bed now, but it was very satisfying whilest the sciatica was on me.

BTW, that sciatica stuff was so miserable, that I bought two captains seats from Chris so I would have a couple of places to sit in the house, and I bought a "molded-just-right-for-the-butt" cast aluminum tractor seat for my potters wheel. What blessed relief!!!

Regards,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver
