Yup, I've found 2 of them lying around, myself. The first, a 59-62 had its legs sawed off a bit to keep from tipping. I gave $6 for it at a Goodwill store. The second was a little later and totally devoid of upholstery. Its legs showed considerable wear from being moved around on concrete or other abrasive surface. If anybody has available one for a 56-58 with brown upholstery, I'd love to buy it! In my storeroom at my house, I have 3 Vanagon ones, plus one from a 78 Champagne Edition, plus the 2 splitty ones. I guess if I ever host a midwest Vanagon/ Type 2 get together, we have seats for a few! Al Brase still looking for original rims for my November 1955 pickup. Rims dated 09/55 or 10/55
