In that I'm not centrally located ... it would be a long drive to almost any chosen location.

Lincoln, Nebraska is 1,754 miles or more than 31 hours driving time, one way, from here.

If I drove 10 hour days for 3 or more days (roughly a week of driving round trip) only to camp with the group for a couple of nights, it would be hard to justify. Now if the gathering were set up to span a number of days and not just a weekend, it might be worthy of consideration.
