The rotating location idea probably is the best way to get the

Also - different parts of the country have better times for camping than

others - so a set yearly date would probably not work....

There are many current camping events that I cannot attend because they

Are a fixed date or location that conflicts with other commitments.

Would picking a standing VW campout event [ different every year...]

As the "designated Vanagon.com" campout a better way to keep planning simple

And pool resources? Rather than plan a unique camping event every year -

[all the good weekends are probably taken!]

Take the resources and effort to latch on to and Boost a standing event...

[ EveryBus, Busses of the Corn, Buses by the Falls, Westies at Watkins, Busses under the Bridge, Busses by the Hydrant, Busses in Whoville...]

Burning Man should be a 5th year pinnacle for the rotation.** The idea of a

35+ bus convoy from the east coast would be a HOOT!.
