Just to clarify this travel monster's time constraints = low (I'm a
PhD student so I have pretty flexible time), but my money constraints
= high.
My Banff trip will be subsidized as there is an academic conference
there in June. As for burning man this year may be my one and only
chance to get out there so I'm biting the bullet. I was thinking of
even leaving the van in Alberta so the drive is not as long come
August, but then I'd be without the van for most of the summer which
is just plain unacceptable.
