One thing to consider when building cabinets or adding "things" inside the van - what happens if you hit something or something hits you? In a 9g crash (fighter aircraft can pull 9gs just flying) a 100 pound cabinet now becomes almost 1000 pounds - and if it's not anchored to the car interior sufficiently for this force it rips loose and goes sailing around inside the van . . . .
