They are great because they will stop your car better, which is really the only parameter I am interested in when it comes to brakes! If you are shopping for the cheapest brakes, or tires, or any other safety equipment, then you are acting against your own best interests. If you save 25 bucks on a set of pads and then hit something because you increased your stopping distance by 35 feet, it will probably cost you more than what you saved !
