Unless you are really into building the cabinets as a project, unique experience, unique cabinets, you are much better off paying for a used set, or buying a new German set like Jeff sells. It will be cheaper, even w/ shipping than the time/materials it will take you to build a set from scratch. I have seen complete sets for $300.

FWIW,

Tom- I have the knowledge/skills/tools to do it and it still would not be worth it, other than for my own edification.
